I absolutely love this dress!  When I laid eyes on it on the clearance rack in Old Navy, I knew it had to be mine!  It's perfect for lounging around the house, going out to lunch, or just running errands.  The fabric is lightweight and airy - perfect for the upcoming hot summer days!

My roommate and I decided to take a break from packing up our apartment to get fro-yo and take a walk around campus.  I have a slight obsession with frozen yogurt (this may have been my third one in the past 3 days...) and a new fro-yo place opened up a couple days ago.  Since it is within walking distance from our apartment, my roommate and I decided to scout it out.  It was (by far) the best frozen yogurt I've eaten so far!

I chose to wear a comfy J.Crew button up and vibrant shorts for our little excursion.  The weather has been unusually beautiful for Indiana in May, so I decided to take advantage of my last few days on campus and show off my new shorts!

Day to Night

Working in a big city is going to be amazing, but I know I'll find myself not always wanting to go home to change out of my work clothes before going out. As you can see, it's pretty easy to take a simple shift dress from day to night.  As long as you can bring along a change of accessories, switching up your look can be quite simple!

Well Balanced

My older sister and I took her 2 year old daughter to the park today.  I knew whatever I wore needed  to be comfortable yet stylish, so I opted for super comfortable chino shorts and a button up.  The feminine and preppy shorts paired with the fierce leopard print shirt created the perfectly balanced outfit for a beautiful spring day!

Work to Play

As I've been shopping for work clothes, I have found myself being drawn to pieces that can easily be converted from work to play.  Floral prints have gained popularity this season, so I wanted to share a way to transform a summery floral blouse styled for work with a skirt and heels to a fun weekend look by pairing it with skinnies and flats.
